John Whittingdale opened the brand new Pre-School building at Purleigh Primary School.
Until now, Half-Pint Pre-School have rented a demountable building from the school which has been on site since the early 1950s and has been moved three times. The condition of the demountable had deteriorated severely and, while the Pre-School staff did an amazing job with the children, they had been constantly hindered by the building. The new building will allow the staff at Half-Pint to provide a full curriculum that offers quality access to the Early Years Foundation Stage and meets the Every Child Matters agenda.
